Tried out my new Pomoly Yarn last weekend. Brilliant bit of kit. I was trying out my Outpacker Firebox ECO and thought I would share some thoughts. I took a bit of time ensuring that the stove pipe had an air gap between it and the yellow tape of the stove jack as per the advice on their page. I was pretty glad I did as the air intake plate was loose (I won’t forget to check next time!). Result was a pretty spectacular run away stove! It was a good 25 minutes before the flue stopped glowing. Not a single mark on the stove jack or tent. That extra couple of minutes getting the flue position right and the tent pegs I used to stabilise the stove before lighting it made all the difference.
