What is worth writing about?
- A correction. If a number here looks wrong, send the reasoning. We publish corrections in place with the date they were made.
- A question about a specific build, especially with your conditions attached. Ground type, expected low and what material is standing near you change the answer completely.
- Something you want tested. We cannot promise it, but requests with a clear question behind them tend to end up on the sheet.
- Permission requests for the photographs or the sheet data.
What we cannot help with
Two limits worth stating up front so nobody wastes an email.
We are not able to give advice for an ongoing trip or an emergency in progress. If you are cold and out there now, that is a call for local emergency services, not for a mailbox checked once a day. We also do not answer questions about land access or permits, because rules differ by parcel and the only reliable answer comes from whoever manages the ground you are standing on.
